New York by Night: Deadly Renditions is a White Wolf Chronicle set in modern day Sabbat-held Manhattan. The dark, Gothic-Punk reflection that exist within the World of Darkness. And because NYbN is a Sabbat chronicle it deals with more mature themes than those presented in your run of the mill White Wolf game.

Furthermore, NybN:DR is a Black Dog game.

What does Black Dog mean exactly?

Well, Black Dog was for more adult oriented imprints in the White Wolf universe. "Montreal by Night" was one of these imprints. The material in the books was normally more blatantly disturbing. The pictures were extremely more visceral and overtly sexual. It also specifically stated under the logo "For Adults Only." These books were not for the squeamish or the delicate natured. They had great information however are excellent resources for the Sabbat and other darker lines.

So, be forewarned, this is what NybN:DR is all about…

NybN:DR will strive to be a venue that forces players and storytellers alike to change the way they think in order to understand a creature that has survived for decades feeding off the pain and misery of others. To in essence strip away their perceptions of humanity and become the Beast. Could you survive in such a World of Darkness? Could you survive the Creation Rites and have only an empty eternity to provide you solace? Could you succumb to the Beast.
